Home Office Desk with Keyboard Drawer in Cherry Finish

I use this desk for my computer, and it has enough space for even the big full-tower computers plus a dual monitor setup. It also isn't cheap-looking like the do-it-yourself furniture you would buy from retail stores. Assembly was easy, and it's incredibly sturdy.

I didn't take points off for this, but the product title needs to be changed. There is not a keyboard drawer on this desk. The only drawer is just a regular one. It doesn't work for putting your keyboard and mouse in it.

The chair came timely as stated. But the box was damaged on delivery. And the chair had damage to the bottom of the seat. A wheel on the base was stripped and kept falling out while it was rolled to it's new home. The button tops on the chair itself came off and are impossible to replace by the owner. We requested an exchange and got prompt pick up of the delivered chair. But it has to be packaged in it's original box which is a huge hassle when the box was already destroyed by the delivery and trying to get the chair out of it's packaging. We are a week out of the request for the exchange and have not received the new chair yet. It was supposed to be a Christmas present, but there is no sign that the new one has shipped yet. Overall we are hoping the new chair does not have some of the same quality issues the one we originally received had. 

Broyhill Big & Tall Executive Chair, Brown & Mahogany

I have had this chair for almost 3 years now, I'm 6'4" and a bigger guy near 300lbs and I love how deep it is to support my legs and how high the back is unlike standard chairs made for people shorter than me. The support is great too. After nearly 3 years of use the leather is just starting to show wear on the arms, nothing serious just the color getting lighter. I liked this chair so much I bought a second one for my office at work this past spring. My first one is actually a darker mocha brown leather while the second is the newer brown that almost has a reddish tint in the leather compared to the brown of the original one. I have not had any issues with either chairs other than scratching up the wood on the inside of the arms from sitting down and getting up but that is normal expected wear. I weigh near 300lbs and have not experienced any issues at all with the lift cylinder in either chair and I use the home office chair at least 5 days a week minimum for at least an hour at a time and up to 10 hours at least 5 hours a week on up for nearly 3 years, I use the chair at work 5 days a week for 6-10 hours at a time so about 30-50 hours a week for 8 months now. When switching from the 3 year old chair to the newer one I don't notice much difference in support between the two so I would say they don't wear much as they both have near the same amount of cushion and support with one being 2 years older than the other.
With the experience I have had with my chairs I would recommend this chair to someone my size hands down.

Lane Executive Leather Office Chair with Padded Handle & Waterfall Seat

I've had back surgery and cannot sit in most chairs for more than 1 hour at a time without getting up to stretch my back. I can sit for several hours in this chair without getting back fatigue. The padding is very comfortable and lumbar works well for me. It's also a very nice looking piece of furniture for the office. My only complaints are that the odor from the foam in the chair is really strong and I'm hoping it will go away in time. It's also leather which is not my first choice because it doesn't ventilate well, especially in summer.

I recently purchased this chair after buying a smaller chair from target that wasn't extremely comfortable. This chair is roomier then I expected can handle both me and my girlfriend sitting at in the same time without problems and easily keeps me comfortable for long periods of time. The armrests are well padded as is the rest of the chair. I assembled this chair by myself in about 30 minutes maybe less I wasn't using a stop watch or trying to go extremely fast. If you can get one like I did for around $250 or even a little more it's worth all the money. I don't see having to replace this chair for a long time, the leather is soft and comfortable, and the chrome base and armrest give it a nice modern touch. 

Alera Ravino Big & Tall Series High-Back Swivel/Tilt Leather Chair, Black

A very heavy and sturdy chair. I weigh around 340 and I got tired of breaking pedestrian chairs over the years. I can lean back on this one and not have to worry. There is a tiny bit of play in the chair, but I wouldn't call it a "wobble." Nothing to worry about. For the chair to not have any play, I'm sure it would have to be quite a bit heavier and more expensive than it is. It's more than adequate. 

High Back Leather Executive Chair

The chair leans back which is nice. Doesn't seem to have too much lean which i don't really like but it's enough to put my feet up on my sub woofer. The leather is very nice quality and it has a built-in lumbar support which feels nice. My only issue with the chair was the first chair i sat in it and a bolt sheered off. But i told amazon and they had my new chair their the next day (same as what i paid for to ship it originally) and they had a ups man there the next day to pick up the broken chair. After that the chair has been flawless and very comfortable. The leather feels less cheap then the leather on my old chair.

When we first received this some of the pieces were damaged but the company we got it from was very helpful and sent us the pieces within a timely manner, it was a bit of a pain but I have to say all worth it in the end, the desk looks very nice in our office and has plenty of room for everything we have. There is a lot of file space on both sides of the desk which we needed. I would recommend this to others! 

Shoal Creek Executive Desk Jamocha

This desk is heavy as hell, and needs at least 2 person to assembly. One person could do it with a lot of difficulty.

I had my first disappointment when the item has arrived. Some parts (and visible ones) were damaged during the transport.

Schema in general explains well how to assembly but some details are skipped, so you have to discover yourself. Assembling this unit is not comparable to assembling a simple desk or any other furniture but requires some carpenter talents. If you don't have some experience on woodwork this is not definitely for you.

Screws are just in number, so try to not loose or damage them. Otherwise you need to buy new ones and some of them are rare to find.

Material is cheap, not solid wood but kinda chipboard. So it could be broken or damaged easily during the installation. This was my case. I had some parts broken during the assembly and mounting of drawers. The finish is lacquer paint on chipboard. It looks nice.

Other problem is moving the unit. It requires at least 2 men to carry. So make sure to not assembly far away from its designed place.

Finally I finished the setup after 10 hours of work (alone) and a lot difficulties. In final, I have a nice-looking desk but one of the drawers is broken and fixed by wood glue. I have several paint damage on arrival. (probably I need to touch-up).

This is the second Sauder exec. desk for us. The first is too large for us to move cross-country, so we went with this slightly smaller one. This one is ready to receive a computer monitor with a port opening on top and a center pull out drawer that can be used as either a drawer or a fold down shelf for the keyboard. The black inlay top eliminates the fingerprinting that we found so difficult to handle on the solid melamine top of the larger model. Three file drawers plus a supply drawer, nice looking paneled pedestal desk. A winner all around.

This is a very good value desk for the price, looks great and once assembled is steady and functional. Be prepared to spend several hours putting it together though - and at certain points of construction you will need an extra pair of hands to help. The basic elements of the desk are pretty cheap I suspect and I do wonder how well it is going to last and remain reasonably unblemished. Time will tell. As a second desk it is perfect.
